Lei Jingjie (b. 2001, Enshi, China) is a young artist working primarily in painting and installation.

His practice examines the relationship between creator and medium, exploring themes of memory, absence, and perception. By capturing and reconstructing visual fragments—both individual and collective—he reveals how emotional residues and perceptual ruptures shape our understanding of the self and the other. His proposed concept of "the missed" (错失之物) refers not only to the forgotten and overlooked but also to the incompleteness of life, psychological fissures, emotional latency, and the persistent tension between reality and illusion.

Lei's works have been collected by private patrons and art institutions, and his practice has garnered attention from major media platforms, including CCTV News.
